Connected apps
Connect your shop, calendar, CRM or email, then choose what your AI assistant can look up or do in each.
Connected apps let your assistant work in the tools your business already uses. A customer asks where their order is, and the assistant looks it up in your shop. A caller wants a time on Thursday, and it checks your calendar. You decide which apps are connected, which of their tools the assistant may use, and on which channels.
Connect an app
Open Connected apps
In the dashboard, go to Control Center → Connected apps. Search for the app you use.
Connect it
Select Connect. You are taken to the app's own sign-in page to approve access, then brought back to LiyaSupport. You never share your password with us.
Choose what the assistant can do
After you connect, choose the app's tools. Many apps have hundreds, so we suggest a short list to start with: the look-ups support teams use most. Switch on the ones you want.
Choose where each tool works
Each tool has switches for Chat, Email, WhatsApp, Text and Phone. Look-ups are on everywhere by default. Tools that change data start on written channels only.
What the assistant is and is not allowed to do
| Kind of tool | Examples | Where it can run |
|---|---|---|
| Looks something up | Get an order, check a calendar, find a contact | Chat, email, WhatsApp, text and phone |
| Changes something | Refund an order, book a visit, update a contact | Chat, email and WhatsApp. The customer must clearly agree first |
| Removes something | Cancel or delete | Off until you switch it on, and never on phone or text |
Good to know
- Choose up to 25 tools per app. A short list works better than a long one.
- The assistant can only fill in simple fields, such as an order number. Tools that need more complex input are shown as unavailable.
- On a call, the assistant says a short line such as “one moment while I check” while it looks something up.
- Connections are handled by our integration partner. You can disconnect an app at any time, which also switches off its tools.
- Apps marked Ready-made on the integrations page are set up and tested by us. Every other app connects too, but you choose its tools yourself.
